Original Landlords

BY jeremy arviso

Jeremy Donavan Arviso is the designer behind the brand Original Landlords and is deeply influenced by his mixed Diné, Hopi, Akimel O’odham, and Tohono O’odham heritage. His primary focus is creating pieces that reflect both the vibrancy and stories of his people. Committed to sustainability, he aligns with Indigenous values of respecting the land and using resources mindfully. For this collection, he plans to use eco-friendly materials whenever possible and upcycle garments and fabric that would otherwise end up in a landfill. Each piece tells a story that reflects our connection to the Earth.

He has collaborated with organizations like NBA team the Phoenix Suns, Nike, Indian Motorcycle, and artists like Jamie Okuma and Bethany Yellowtail, to name a few. His goal is to create an immersive experience that combines design, storytelling, and a sense of place. His work is not just about the clothes but the stories behind them. Through each piece of fashion—whether footwear, garments, jewelry, or accessories—he wants the audience to feel connected to Indigenous values of sustainability, community, and innovation.

RezTek is Indigenous technical contemporary fashion from the future. Silhouettes from the past are reimagined for today’s urban Native.
